Spring?

I don't think spring is quite here yet, but we keep getting a taste of it here and there. Today the temperature was in the mid 60's, tomorrow it'll be snowy (or so they say). Either way we've been enjoying the nice days when they come. Mason will finally go outdoors since he isn't either too hot or too cold so he's been running around having a good time. He came in and told me today that he wants to be a dragon when he grows up. Not sure how to tell him that isn't really on the list of possibilities. He's sure a fun kid. Natalie, of course, practically lives out doors when the weather is nice. She asked me if she can sleep outside in her tent tonight. Boy wouldn't she be surprised to wake up to snow and sleet. I went for a walk during lunch, it was so nice outside. I'll be glad when the weather is consistently warmer.

Thoughts of spring remind me that Mason's birthday is coming up. Glad Easter is late this year, it was the same weekend as Mason's birthday last year. I have several ideas for birthday cakes for him. He asked me to make him something completely impossible the other day...I don't remember what it was, but whatever it was, it was way beyond my skill set. We'll see what he and I settle on. Hard to believe he'll be four in just a few weeks!
